Wheelchair Accessories (Power and Manual)
The Storm TDX5 is the wheelchair that I use. It has the ability to be upgraded with many different types of technologies to enhance independence. My wheelchair has the ability to tilt, recline, elevate, and power legs. It is very expensive and has broken down a bunch of times.

| E-Motion - Push Power AssistSince mid-December I’ve been able to operate a power assist manual wheelchair. With just 20% of a normal push generates an extra 80% of motorized support. That e-motion wheelchair is perfect for individuals with limited mobility in the upper extremities. Especially for people with limited mobility with their hands and triceps. Also people who have shoulder injuries but want to continue using a manual wheelchair. |

Wheelchair Sound Systems
| This is a wheelchair system I rigged up. Buy some external speakers. I got these for 20 bucks at RadioShack used a rubber band to connect it to the back of my head rest. I then purchased a 4 foot male/female stereo chord. I then looked it up to my iPod shuffle. |
| Jay 2 CushionI use the J2 cushion on both my manual and power wheelchair. The J2 is specially designed for people at high risk for skin breakdown. There is cut out for the pelvic region with about 2 inches of Jay Flow fluid, which feels like a gel like fluid. | ![]() |
| Roho High-Performance Cushion“4″ (10 cm) interconnected air cells provide an adjustable, low deformation, counter-pressure environment that assist in the healing of ischemic ulcers. Appropriate for the high risk client.” | ![]() |
| Varalite Evolution BackThis back should only be used for individuals with good trunk control. I like this back on manual wheelchairs because it frees up the elbows from hitting any lateral supports. | ![]() |
| Jay 2 Deep Contour BackThis back should only be used for individuals with poor trunk control. I like this back on power wheelchairs because it stabilizes the rib cage giving an individual the proper lateral support. | ![]() |
