Outpatient Rehabilitation

Determined2Heal Tips:

  • Bring a video camera to your physical therapy visits so that you can develop your own personal home video therapy program

  • Learn as much as possible can about your specific condition

  • Focus on trying to move different parts of your body, this is known as cognitive biofeedback.  To learn more about the importance of cognitive biofeedback click here

Outpatient Rehabilitation is very important to an individual's recovery. Outpatient Rehabilitation should begin immediately after inpatient therapy ends. Before leaving inpatient therapy make sure that your physical therapists educate you as much as possible about your rehabilitation program.  Make sure you can teach someone about your program so that you can transition your inpatient therapies to outpatient therapies.

It took me a long time, to find the right outpatient rehabilitation center.  In order to even simplify this transition Determined2heal has created a rating system.  If you'd like Determined2heal to rate your rehabilitation center please e-mail us at determined2heal@aol.com with your contact information and your rehabilitation centers contact information.
